The constitutional treatment depends on the client's individual needs and condition. For example, acne skin and dry skin would each be treated differently. Constitutional points are usually on the arms, legs, feet or abdomen.
Additionally, we use extremely fine, coated Japanese needles in a series of points in and around the face. This part of the process focuses directly on facial wrinkles, skin and muscle tone. The treatment causes minimal discomfort. Laser acupuncture may also be used. An herbal formula designed specifically for you will also be prescribed which should be taken internally during the course of the treatment.
A standard course of treatment involves ten weekly or biweekly acupuncture sessions.
